About Us

Digestive Diet Inc. was founded by Aron Rosenfeld in 1998, when his sister, Rochel Weiss, finally found relief and healing through the SCD, after having struggled for many years with severe Crohn's disease. Although elated at Rochel's remarkable turnaround, Aron became increasingly concerned that countless others were still suffering needlessly…either because they didn't know about the SCD, or because the demands of food preparation were too challenging and time-consuming for them to undertake while still coping with their illnesses. So he dedicated himself to helping as many people as possible, by both increasing SCD awareness and by finding ways to make the SCD as easy-to-follow as possible.

That's what Digestive Diet is all about; it's about promoting intestinal health by making it more accessible to the people who need it most. We accomplish this by providing information, education, and resources - and by offering hard-to-find and even one-of-a-kind food items and ingredients, designed to ease the burdens of shopping and cooking. Our goal is to help people get well - not just by showing them the way, but also by doing much of the work for them. After much thought, painstaking research, and tireless investigation into the workings of food production, we at Digestive Diet have developed - and are continuing to develop - innovative (and delicious) food items that enable sufferers of intestinal maladies to follow the SCD with as little disruption as possible to their daily lives - and to enjoy doing so as well!
